Private Yoga

Private Pilates Reformer

What to expect in a Private Class with Faye:

Some styles of yoga tend to follow a rigid repertoire of poses, especially in a group class setting. Private yoga lessons with Faye Rose at Art & Soul Yoga, on the other hand, are specifically designed to meet your needs and to help you maximize the benefits of your yoga practice.

First Faye will first assess a number of factors to develop an informed, individualized strategy for your yoga therapy. Postural imbalances, history of injury, surgery, and other physical limitations will be taken into account when coming up with a plan to meet your health goals.

When you begin your one-on-one instruction, you will see how the personalized attention can help you meet your goals more quickly and more effectively than in a group setting.

Private lessons are a wonderful introduction for those new to yoga. By practicing variations to poses, you’ll learn how to modify difficult poses so that they are more accessible to you, and how to modify easy poses to make them more challenging.

Some of the specialties Faye has worked with are:

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Arthritis

  • Back conditions

  • MS and Parkinson's

  • Sports injuries : Hip, Knee, Shoulder, Ankle

  • Extreme flexibility issues

  • Strengthening & Weakness

"I found Faye just over two years ago.  She has become a very important part of
my life, as through her I have learned about the importance of wellness and
I have MS, and over the years I became more sedentary. Faye started me off with
chair yoga, and then we worked up to floor yoga. She identified a problem I had
with balance, and added pilates to our sessions to build my strength and balance.
Two years later I am stronger, more confident in my physical being, and through
our yoga have become a calmer, more centered person.
Faye is an extraordinary individual and I consider myself lucky to have her as my teacher. And she's a lot of fun! " Jan
